Processing is lawful, fair, transparent. The Processing activities have lawful grounds. I always consider your rights before Processing Personal Data. I will provide you information regarding Processing upon request.

Processing is done with minimal data. I only gather and Process the minimal amount of Personal Data required for any purpose.

I do my best to keep your Personal Data safe. This site uses safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). Anonymising and pseudonymising are used where suitable. The systems are being monitored for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. There’s also a firewall in place, as well as systems for detecting security issues.

Even though I try my best, I can not guarantee the security of information. However, I promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. I will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. I will do everything I reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.

You can request the copy of your Personal Data stored by this website, or request the erasure of it, on the Privacy Tools page, linked to in the footer of this site. Please note, that if you don’t have an account on this website, when you got to the Privacy Tools page, you’ll be asked to identify yourself by providing an email. This is necessary for the system to be able to identify you, and provide you with a copy of your data, or to delete your data, depending on your request. When you do this, your email address won’t be stored anywhere.

What sort of information this site gathers?

This website collects information from you in three ways: when you’re registering for an account to make a purchase, when you sign up for the newsletter, and when you fill up the contact form on the Contact page.

This website isn’t directed towards / or meant to be used by children. I do not intend to collect or knowingly collect information from children.

Registering for an account and making a purchase:

The information you provide when registering/making a purchase is necessary to complete your order. The only information this site stores are: your login information(if you choose to make an account), your name, shipping and billing addresses, email address, and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number. Your payment details aren’t stored in any way, nor do I have any access to them. Right now, all payments are processed through PayPal, and are subject to the PayPal Privacy Policy.
Your data will be used only to complete your order, and kept private.
If you choose to register for an account, your data will be stored for as long as you have that account. If you make a purchase without having an account here, the data you provided when making your order will be stored on the server for a year, until the end of a tax year. Some of your data ( your name), along with the order details, will be then stored offline for another 5 to 6 years, as this is required by law. If you delete your account, all of your data will we removed from the server.

Signing up for the newsletter:

The information you provide when signing up for the newsletter is necessary to provide the service. Your name and email address is the only information kept on file. This information will be used to send you updates and offers, form time to time. If you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter, simply click the “unsubscribe” link in the emails you receive. Your name and email address will be kept for as long as you’re subscribed.

Filling up the contact form:

If you need to contact me, you can use the contact form. The contact form sends your message directly to my email, and your details aren’t stored anywhere on this website. You can also send me an email directly to contact@lunariajewellery.com. I’m going to use the data you provided when filling the form only to answer your questions/ concerns.

Who else has access to your Data

Your Personal Data will not be shared with strangers. Personal Data about you is in some cases provided to trusted partners in order to either make providing the service to you possible or to enhance your customer experience. I share your data with:

PayPal – they are responsible for processing any payments made on this website, and they handle your payment details, as stated here.
MailChimp – this is the newsletter service I currently use. If you choose to register for the newsletter, your name and email address are going to be stored on their servers. Here are their Privacy Policy and Terms

I only work with Processing partners who are able to ensure adequate level of protection to your Personal Data. I disclose your Personal Data to third parties or public officials when I am legally obliged to do so. I might disclose your Personal Data to third parties if you have consented to it.

Here’s what the Google Analytics cookies do:

_utma cookie: distinguishes between users and sessions. It it used to calculate new and returning visitor statistics. Lasts for two years.

_utmb cookie: determines new sessions and visits and expires after 30 minutes.

_utmc cookie: not always used. If it is, then it works in combination with the _utmb cookie to identify new sessions/visits for returning visitors. This is a session cookie which disappears when the user closes their browser.

_utmz cookie: identifies the source of traffic to the site – so Google Analytics can tell site owners where visitors came from when arriving on the site. It lasts for 6 months.

Social media sharing buttons used on this website use sharif wrapper: this means that connection to your social media profiles is established only when you click on a button to share something.  In other words: Facebook has no idea you’re here, until you click the Facebook button.
